Zombie 5: Killing Birds (1987)

Fred Brown has been living alone for the last few decades after coming back from Vietnam but his new guests are really the summer sensation. They show up and all hell breaks loose and soon zombies are running around the area and these college kids who were looking for rare birds will become the hunted. And there may be no way out.

Overall: Yet another film that can’t stand on its own feet and must call itself a sequel to get any sort of play. Stars Robert Vaughn (Man from U.N.C.L.E.) as a blind Vietnam Vet who took revenge on his cheating wife and paid the price by being avenged upon by the wife’s pet birds. There are only 2 zombies in the whole film and this film comes off more as a murder mystery than a zombie film. Robert Vaughn also isn’t really there much of the time and if you watch the DVD features, an interview with him is less than exciting. He recounts how little he remembers about this movie and the stuff he does remember is incorrect anyway.
