Within the Woods (1978)

          Summary: Bruce and Ellen are out for a nice trip into the woods to camp and sleep over. However Bruce ends up unearthing an old Indian sacrificial knife. After they decide to sleep on the excitement of their discovery, bad things start to happen. And Ellen is gonna have to fight to stay alive even if that means killing Bruce!

          Overall: Well any copies you find of this film (through at least today's date of July 2007), are bootlegged copies or off of YouTube, or hell, this link will download for you a copy of the film. All 15 MB of it.

          Bottom line is its grainy and dark and rough at all times. It's a tough film to sit through, but I'd hope one day for a cleaner remastered version. In meantime, anyone who loves this series should watch the film. You get a good glimpse of what was to come, re: POV shots, suspense, music, etc. It's a rough film but provides some nice insights.
