Stockholm Syndrome (2008)

poster

Summary: A young man and his pregnant wife are just trying to enjoy a little time away from home and unfortunately have checked into the wrong motel at the worst possible time. Sitting in the lot are 2 guys whose job is to kidnap people for a larger human trafficking operation. After their capture, they are led back to the lair where all the evil deeds start from. The organization has torture and brainwashing down to an art and sick games are their means of making money. Even if they live, they’ll never truly escape.

Overall: Easily the best picture from Ryan Cavalline. The film had the best acting I’ve seen from his films and a very compelling storyline to go with it. I know it seems like 2007-2008 were all about torture/porn films but frankly the film comes off very real and not just simply there to freak us out. I was repulsed by the forced abortion and that doesn’t happen to me at all. Great acting by the cast and definitely a need to watch film. And hey, how many people get strangled with an intestine? My only critiques was the audio quality but hey, a minor issue in an otherwise must-see film.
