Screamers 2: The Hunting (2009)

Summary: A group of humans arrive on Sirius 6-B to investigate an SOS signal sent out from the planet, which has been supposedly deserted since the destruction of the "screamers." Once the squad arrives, they find a group of human survivors and more important, they discover that the threat of the screamers has become even more dangerous, now that they're able to morph into human form.           Overall: It’s interesting that when you look at other reviews, for the most part people tend to excuse this film as “not that bad.” Well good for them but the film although “not that bad,” was totally unnecessary. And if anything, was simply a rehashing of the same ideas. There’s nothing new here. We still have people on the planet surviving both robotic and human-looking screamers. The movie surrounds the idea that screamers now take human form and again, they’ve gotta find a plane to get off the planet. Nothing special here folks. Basically a waste of a lot of $$ and nothing different contributed to the plot.           Comparison: Screamers meets Screamers
