Mimic 2 (2001)

Remy is a school teacher who like insects and like to learn but she’s really had bad luck with boyfriends lately. But a new neighbor has come to help her out and the bad suitors are disappearing left and right. The cops begin to suspect her but get an early clue she couldn’t possibly be responsible for the damage. Eventually the cops conclude what the killer is and how to stop it, but it won’t leave until it take Remy with it!
Overall: The release of this sequel took me by surprise so by renting this, I had no optimistic views. Thank God I didn’t because I can’t say the film was that good. The film tries to take place after the last one but the story is so disjointed from the prior film, it really should have not been titled as a sequel! By itself, the film is just “ok” – story is very simple, the acting is simpler and basically, it isn’t even scary! Ho-hum! Comparison: Food of the Gods meets Kindergarten Cop |
