Will is a publishing executive who’s just about to lose his job. The company is being acquired by a Mogul who wants everything down his way and Will’s fairly established piece of concrete unwilling to move. But Will has been bitted by a wolf and soon starts to turn into one himself. And the feelings and hormones have turned Will into somebody who won’t let people “railroad” him…and he intends to fight back. But his successor in his job was also his protégé and soon Stewart Swinton will also become a wolf, during a fight with Will and when the 2 do battle for the same lady…this love triangle is gonna get bloody!
Overall: For me, this film is “ok.” It’s obviously got a splendid cast and had some interesting stuff. I think a major prob is we all know that Jack couldn’t do the actions that his character does. At his age (when film was made), he wasn’t this athletic and that knowledge takes a bit away from the film. Most fans of the film enjoy it for the discussion on energy, human nature, living a wild lifestyle. I find that giving this film a little too much credit. It’s a nice werewolf film that spends a ton of time on the origins of werewolves. But don’t take this film as an essay on older people and their need to rediscover youth.
