Identity (2003)

Ed is a limo driver who hit a woman standing in the roadway when her car broke down. Rushing the lady and her family to the nearest motel is the only thing Ed can do with the weather so bad. But even the phones don’t work right now and soon there will be 10 people all stuck at a motel and with n nowhere to go. The arrival of a corrections officer and the prisoner don’t help much when the prisoner escapes but the death of said prisoner makes life even more interesting as the guests at the hotel start to die one by one.
Overall: I gotta say that this was an awesome film. Very good thriller with a great plot. The DVD alternate & deleted scenes weren't that good. The cut scenes were not that important. The "alternate ending" was basically the actual ending but added scenes of the killer, Malcolm Rivers, actually killing people. Given what we find out, sort of makes that appear as if he escaped. It was good call not to let this ending sneak out. My only other complaint was that the ending/secret was given away too early and really could have been held until the very end. Other than that, definitely a film to catch! Comparison: Ten Little Indians meets Pyscho |
