Cemetery Man/Dellamorte Dellamore (1994)

Francesco Dellamore is a caretaker at the local graveyard whose job has become quite exciting lately. About 7 days after the locals are dying, their bodies are resurrecting. Francesco and his assistant Noogie must do all they can to stop these zombies, while trying not to fall in love with the corpses at the same time. Not very easy but then again running a cemetery can't be. Not with the life cycle of this Italian town.

Overall: Although some feel this is one of the best horror films of the 1990's, I fail to see any reason why. The film makes little sense and tries to be philosophical about zombies and their night-time habits more than either killing them or trying to stop their transformation. The film is more interesting than most zombie films but just started to bore me. Too much love between Francesco and one chick, playing 3 separate roles (former playmate actually!) and not enough work being done. And the whole undercurrent of Francesco being an eunuch or impotent or whatever the new rumor is, just began to confuse me even more. I say "stay away."

Comparison: For Roseanna meets Army of Darkness
