Clay Pigeons (1998)

Clay is not having a good week. His best friend has just committed suicide in front of him because Clay was sleeping with the dead man's wife. Clay has found the widow's response to the tragedy a bit too cheerful and began to find his own girl - but she ends up murdered by the widow. Now a new guy he has met, Lester Long, ends up sleeping with the widow. On a fishing trip the 2 men take they both discover a dead body - whom nobody seems to know. Needless to say Clay is the prime suspect but no one believes him when he point the finger at Lester, because only the widow and Clay seem to know Lester exists - oh, that's until the widow is stabbed to death. Clay must try everything to clear his name - unless of course, he is the murderer and just doesn't know it yet.
Overall: Interesting film. IMDb says this is more comedy than drama but despite the jokes and humorous lines, shooting people to death isn't necessarily funny, at least not in this film. Vince Vaughn is definitely showing the serial killer side in this film and "Psycho" - sure won't help his career for comedy films. Decent film, so go ahead and check it out.
