8MM 2 (2006)

Summary: An attorney, David Huxley and his fiancée, Tish travel to a hotel in the outskirts of Budapest for a weekend together before their marriage. In the hotel, they fantasize about many things and eventually indulge in a threesome with a beautiful woman named Risa. When they return to home, they realize that someone was watching and in fact videotaping the encounter. In fact, it appears it was all a setup with the lady and soon have to deal with the possibility of being blackmailed. Trying to get to the bottom of this mystery and murders that follow, takes the lovely couple to the mysterious underworld of Hungarian Porn.           Overall: Admit it…the only reason you either saw the film or are reading my review is that you can’t believe anyone made a sequel to this movie. Hell, only reason I even watched it was for the title. But just note, the film isn’t a true sequel, never refers to the first film and isn’t even about “snuff” films. It’s all about blackmail and the need for lots of lots of nude women. That’s it. I bet a producer asked a studio exec for some $$ to shoot naked women in Budapest and someone figured to justify it, they would need a good title. That’s all. Nudity and more nudity. I will say that if anything, other than nudity, was to get you to watch this film, it would be the ending. Now that was interesting. It doesn’t answer much, gives you a ton more questions. But it definitely was like “whoa!”           Comparison: Hardcore meets Eyes Wide Shut
